Amazing industry showcase in Gauteng

We were proud to host our annual Gauteng industry showcase on 12 May. Boardmart in Centurion were once again our hosts. They excelled themselves working closely with our own Amy Sharman to ensure the success of the event and the smooth running of all the logistics (which included a total power outage on the day thanks to suspected cable theft – but event that did not slow the event down).

The event features sixteen KSA supplier members namely: venue hosts Boardmart, Max on Top, Surface Studio, Novodecor, Roco Fittings, Rehau, Sonae Arauco, Salvocorp, Franke, Grass ZA, Blum SA, Upper Edge Products, FIT, National Edging, PG Bison and Maxima Software.
Over the course of the day, we welcomed over 550 visitors from kitchen manufacturers to architects, interior designers, furniture manufacturers and shopfitters. We were overwhelmed by the turnout which surpassed last year’s attendance significantly.

Our guests were not disappointed. They were treated to a wonderful array of food from our food trucks: Engine 67 for breakfast and fully loaded gourmet burgers, craft beers and cocktails, The Brohemian for wood fired pizza, White Cocoa for certified Halaal Lebanese Boti or Kofta Kebabs, SA Belgian Waffles and Has Bean for a selection of artisan coffee & hot beverages. They were entertained by live music from Monkeys Wedding who ensured there was a good vibe to accompany the fantastic weather on the day.

Hosts also rallied round to ensure we had several lucky drawer prizes to give away during the course of the day.

We were overwhelmed at the positive feedback from both hosts and guests. Big congratulations go to our own Amy Sharman, our Gauteng regional representative, on such a huge success.
