2022 Caesarstone SDC Winner Announced!

Caesarstone warmly welcomed the industry to celebrate and share in an evening of talent and festivities and for their 14th annual Student Design Competition. The 2022 brief, From Ashes we Rise, created by Mokena Makeka, allowed the students to re-imagine the interiors and architecture of the new National Assembly in South Africa’s Houses of Parliament Building which was severely damaged in a fire in January 2022. The much-anticipated awards ceremony was held at Makers Landing and guests were spoilt and delighted throughout.

The winners were announced and they were :

3rd place : Nielle Crafford (BHC School of Design) 2nd place : Anine Naudé (CAD4ALL Institute of Applied Architecture) 1st place : Wian van der Merwe (BHC School of Design)
