A memorable and successful KSA Gauteng Industry Showcase brings together leading professionals, clients, and suppliers
Our recent KSA Gauteng Industry Showcase was a remarkable success, bringing together professionals from across the Kitchen industry and included architecture and interior design professionals for an inspiring day of learning, networking, and collaboration.
One of the highlights of the event was the series of IID and SACAP accredited CPD talks. These sessions provided valuable insights, industry updates, and practical knowledge, resonating with both established professionals and emerging talent. Attendees appreciated the expertise shared and found the discussions to be both informative and thought-provoking, reinforcing the event’s reputation as a vital platform for professional growth. The first talk was a panel discusion on the pwerfull effect colaboration can have on a project when really using the expert knowledge avaialble to clients from the suppliers. The panelists included the KSA, IID, Sonae Arauco, Hafele and Interslab. The scond talk discussed the South African design community and it’s reluctance to accept new and emerging trends and how it can be addressed. The panelists included the KSA, the IID, Upper Edge and Optima Kitchens. The third final talk of the day was presented by Kitchencraft, Rubio Monocoat and Pearlman Veneers. They presented a talk on timber trends, and how veneers are being used and finished in contemporary luxury kitchens.
This year, we were delighted to welcome 23 supplier members who exhibited their latest products, solutions, and innovations. The exhibition area was bustling with activity, as attendees explored new offerings, networked directly with suppliers, and discovered potential collaborations. The presence of such a diverse array of exhibitors significantly enriched the event experience, fostering meaningful conversations and partnerships. KSA Suppliers exhibiting on the day were:

The beautiful weather was an added bonus, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere that encouraged attendees to mingle comfortably outdoors and in. Clear skies and sunshine contributed to a lively, positive environment—ideal for both scheduled activities and spontaneous conversations.
Throughout the event, participants enjoyed delicious catering that kept everyone energized and engaged. This relaxed yet productive environment helped attendees forge new connections and strengthen existing relationships that will undoubtedly benefit their projects and careers.
Perhaps most gratifying was the feedback received from not only the kitchen industry and KSA members, but leading architecture and interior design firms, who praised the event’s quality and relevance. Many expressed appreciation for the insightful CPD sessions, the quality of exhibitors, and the excellent opportunities for networking.
